The Science behind ALT

ALT works by breaking down trapped proteins in the interstitium so that stagnant lymph can flow again. That's the mechanism — everything else is a consequence of it.

How the XP2 device works

ALT uses an FDA-approved device called the XP2. It pairs high-frequency electrical and sound waves with glass wands that contain the inert gases argon, krypton, and xenon. When the gases ionize, they produce energy and ions that penetrate the lymphatic system and break down protein and waste material.

During a session, a trained practitioner glides the wands along the body's natural lymph-flow pathways, moving fluid toward the lymph nodes that drain each region. There's no pressure, no squeezing, and no shaking. Most clients find the treatment deeply relaxing — one of the gases, xenon, has a calming effect on the nervous system.

Common question, clearly answered

ALT vs. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Both modalities have real value. Here's how they differ.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT)
TechniqueHands-on, rhythmic massage strokesHandheld wand using vibration, light, and electrical waves
DepthSurface-levelPenetrates significantly deeper into tissue
Session equivalencyOne ALT session ≈ 8–10 MLD sessions
Best forFragile or inflamed tissue, initial post-op recoveryDeep congestion, scar tissue, chronic stagnation, pre- and post-surgery recovery, maintenance
Avoid ifPregnancy, pacemakers, open wounds, liver or kidney failure, congestive heart failure, recent history of blood clots or DVT

MLD is the right choice for fragile tissue and early post-op recovery. ALT is the right choice when you need to reach deeper congestion and move more lymph in less time. For some clients, alternating between the two is ideal.

What are the benefits of ALT?

  • Removes toxins from your body
  • Boosts immunity by up to 200%
  • Decreases healing time post-surgery
  • Quickly relieves allergy symptoms
  • Improves overall wellness
  • Reduces fibrocystic breast tenderness
  • Supports cancer recovery
  • Helps with chronic sinusitis
  • Reduces cellulite and varicose veins
  • Supports lymphedema management

Contraindications

ALT is not recommended during pregnancy. Clients with pacemakers should consider MLD instead, as ALT may interfere with cardiac pacing devices. ALT should not be used over open or newly-healing wounds. ALT is also contraindicated for clients with liver or kidney failure, congestive heart failure, or a recent history of blood clots or deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

The EVOX Science

EVOX Therapy uses advanced biofeedback technology and sound frequencies to help identify and reframe subconscious stress patterns and emotional blocks stored in the body. The session involves a voice-mapping process that detects subtle changes in tone as you speak about specific experiences or topics, revealing areas of unconscious tension.

Once these patterns are identified, customized sound frequencies are played back to support the brain in releasing limiting perceptions and creating healthier emotional responses. The goal is to promote emotional clarity, reduce stress, and support overall well-being from the inside out.
